Top notch stay, room was great, everything like new and in good working order.. and excellent preparation & cleanliness by the room staff.. comfy bed, fantastic shower… never heard a flight going overhead (which was great). 10 minute walk from the south terminal along an established footpath… the lovely Natasha gave me inch-perfect directions when I called. Not much around but can catch the train at the airport and head to Brighton or London

Great base for an early flight. Having stayed at a couple of other Gatwick hotels, I thought this was the best of the bunch in terms of room size, quality and facilities. Nice to have both a kettle and a nespresso machine in the room; great also to have a refrigerator. Air conditioning was good and strong. There's a service station with KFC, McDonalds and M&S nearby, so some convenient food options if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

The food was great in the restaurant, and we had quick and friendly service, it was pleasant and worth eating there. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable, quiet and private. Proximity to the airport served it purpose well.

The property is very clean and contemporary, and exactly what we needed for a short but comfortable stay before flying out of Gatwick. Rooms were quiet and not affected by airport noise. The location is one of the closest hotels to the Southern Terminal; however, for us (2 adults, a 3 year old and 3 huge suitcases) it was too far to walk so we needed to use the airport shuttle to get to and from the terminal. This was absolutely fine, but just something to consider as we probably would have selected one of the cheaper hotels slightly further away had we known we’d need the shuttle.

We had a very early flight from Gatwick so decided to stay at the 'Courtyard by Marriot over night. From the moment we arrived we couldn't have asked for better service from the staff.When going to our room we were surprised firstly by its size and then its up to the minute decor . Facilities were great and being so close to the airport terminal we were impressed by the lack of noise. Overall cleanliness couldn't be faulted. All in all we couldn't fault the hotel and it made our trip so much easier. Thank you and well done.

The room were very nice, it is very close to the terminal, because of that early morning flights were easy to catch as there was no pressure of reaching to the airport late. People who are to travel to north terminal. I would suggest if the shuttle are running late from the hotel which they were when we went, the best way will be to go to south terminal which is 10 minute walk from the hotel, and use the free airport shuttle to reach north terminal, which may be quicker then the hotel shuttle.

It was pleasant that there were walking instructions of how to get to the hotel from the exit of the South Terminal of Gatwick Airport, and back. The hotel facility is thus in convenient proximity to the South Terminal so that you really don't need to depend on a shuttle if you are traveling with light carry-on luggage only, as I did on this particular trip. Although the hotel has come of age, the facility is still pretty functional and it is definitely catering to international guests, permitting them to use mobile phone chargers, laptops and other electrical components, even if you don't have an adapter for the British plug norm. The wall outlets are compatible with the German (DIN) plug norm as well. Vending machines for drinks and sweet snacks are operating with credit card access, so that you don't need British pound coins to get refreshment drinks or snacks.

Great location for early flight, super clean and can’t hear the planes at all. The receptionist Renee gave us the perfect welcome, just the right amount of information and helpfulness - I used to work in reception for many years and its not often I am pleasantly surprised. The staff at checkout were also lovely, I think the customer service is what made this stay memorable.
